ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel Special Procedures Technologist for a travel job in Lafayette, Indiana.

\nRadiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
\n• On-call requirements: 10 shifts per month with weekend call included
\n• Call schedule: 1-2 weeknight calls per week from 5:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Weekend requirements: Every 3rd or 4th weekend call
\n• Guaranteed hours: 40 hours in one workweek for 8 and 10 hour shifts
\n• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
\n• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic procedures for patients from pediatric through geriatric
\n• Follow physician instructions, prepare and operate equipment, and position patients correctly
\n• May be required to scrub into procedures as needed
\n• Required certifications: ARRT(R) and BLS
\n• Current Indiana State Department of Health license in Radiology Technologist required
\n• Knowledge of sterile technique and supplies used during special exams required
\n• Must be able to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when needed
\n• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• Local candidates accepted
\n• Floating required to affiliate hospitals nearby
\n• 18 months experience required
\n• 2 supervisor references required
