**Job Summary and Responsibilities** CHI St. Alexius is looking for Student Nurse Techs to join the team! We're seeking Student Nurse Techs to join our dynamic nursing team and provide essential care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. **In this vital role, you'll:** + **Provide direct patient care** including personal hygiene, comfort, and mobility support for a diverse patient population, from newborns to seniors. + **Monitor and document** patient conditions, promptly reporting changes to the RN. + **Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers** , ensuring a smooth and supportive experience for patients and families. + **Contribute to a clean and organized environment** by managing supplies and equipment. + **Grow your skills** by actively participating in education and quality improvement initiatives. Join us in delivering exceptional patient care. **Job Requirements** + Current enrollment and in good standing in a full time Nursing Program such as an accredited Baccalaureate Nursing Program or RN Associate Degree program or LPN to RN nursing program. + Active state registry as a Nurse Aide (CNA) or LPN license required. BLS or BLS instructor certification required upon hire.
