We are a high growth e-Commerce retailer specialized in automotive parts and accessories. We are expanding our operation to meet the accelerating growth demand. 

Senior Category Manager

The Senior Category Manager will manage the given categories, for existing products or new products. Reporting to Senior VP of Global Sourcing, the position will play an essential role in executing the company’s global growth strategy. Responsibilities

· Develop category strategy; articulate roadblocks and execute tactics to drive the category growth.

· Analyze category performance data; identify issues and complete correction plans.

· Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, establish initial relationships, including both US domestic and overseas suppliers.

· Manage communication with suppliers on RFQ, contract negotiation, performance compliance, and opportunity for improvement.

· Collaborating with global teams and resources to move forward sourcing projects in the growth pipeline.

· Research and monitor industry trends that impact the business.

· Participate and provide support in special growth projects identified by company leadership.

· Coaching junior team members.

· This position has tremendous growth potential for the right individual.

Requirements

· 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in the automotive aftermarket.

· Strong analytical skills. Proven experiences on the development of a fact-base, number driven growth strategy.

· Demonstrated knowledge of the US aftermarket distribution landscape. Prior experience in leading chain stores is highly desired.

· Knowledge of import and export trade is a big plus.

· Deep knowledge of vehicle repairs. Preferences will be given to those who work on their own cars.

· Computer fluency in Microsoft Office Suites. Expert level fluency in Excel.

· Solid communication skills. Must be able to write effectively on complex business matters.

· Bachelor’s degree required; Graduate degree preferred.

· Prior management experience preferred. 

· Unrestricted US work authorization required.
