Job Description

Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: East Hanover, New Jersey

Type: Contract
Compensation: $25/Hour
Contractor Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 6a-2:30p, M-F

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging operations according to customer orders and production schedules

• Operate and monitor packaging equipment safely and efficiently

• Inspect equipment and perform minor adjustments or repairs as needed

• Safely handle hazardous and non-hazardous materials in compliance with plant and environmental requirements

• Stock packaging materials (pallets, labels, tape, slip sheets, etc.)

• Maintain housekeeping and a clean work area

• Meet production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements

• Support continuous improvement and safety initiatives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• 1–3 years of relevant manufacturing or packaging experience preferred

• Willingness to work heavy overtime, including extended daily hours and occasional Saturdays

• Ability to wear required PPE (steel-toe boots, hard hat, eye protection, face shields, respirators, etc.)

• Ability to work in a high-hazard industrial environment

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive movements (standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders/stairs)
