Offshore HVAC Technician

INFINITEK are working with a leading provider of offshore living quarters, modular buildings, and maintenance services for the oil and gas industry. We are looking for a skilled Offshore HVAC Technician to join their team and support operations in the Gulf of Mexico.

Job Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems on offshore platforms and modular buildings.
• Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose and resolve issues with refrigeration, air conditioning, and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Adhere to safety and environmental regulations, ensuring compliance with offshore standards.
• Maintain service logs, records, and documentation.

Requirements

Experience: Minimum 3 years of HVAC experience, preferably in an offshore or industrial setting.

Certifications: EPA 608 Certification required; NCCER or HVAC license preferred.

Skills: Strong troubleshooting, electrical, and mechanical skills.

Physical Demands: Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in extreme weather conditions.

Offshore Requirements: Must be able to pass an offshore medical exam, drug screening, and hold or obtain HUET, TWIC, and SafeGulf certifications.
