Working Conditions

• This position is eligible for a hybrid telework option, in accordance with CAL FIRE’s telework policy, and will be required to report to the office as needed/required. The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

•  Requires the ability to handle a dynamic workload in a timely and efficient manner, communicate effectively when dealing with external stakeholders and/or other employees, develop and maintain knowledge and skills related to specific tasks and methodologies, and adhere to Departmental and program policies and procedures.

•  A California Department of Justice Criminal Offender Record Information (background check) search is required under California Penal Code section 11102.2(b).

•  Occasional overnight travel may be necessary.
