About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Finance for its Private US Residential Real Estate Debt Strategies group. The successful candidate will lead a Finance Team that is integral to the management of a series of fast-growing residential credit funds and separate account mandates. This role requires a professional with executive presence, leadership skills, and a strong background in credit strategies, particularly in the context of tax structuring, issues, and challenges. The Head of Finance will be responsible for supporting the Business Team in various financial aspects, creating a collaborative environment, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial processes. Key responsibilities for the Head of Finance include providing guidance on acquisitions, dispositions, securitization transactions, and financing arrangements, as well as supervising and coordinating a multi-location Finance Team. The role demands a high level of responsiveness, the ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues in a manner that is both business-responsive and risk-aware. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years' experience, a Bachelor's degree in accounting, and a combination of Big 4 and private sector experience. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to effectively manage third-party relationships and ensure a timely financial reporting cycle.
