THE ROLE

Our goal is to maintain the trust and confidence of our fans, artists, employees, and partners. As an Intern in the Information Security and Privacy team, you will support multiple tasks related to information security and front-end development of sites to support the needs of the organization. The internship will be located in the Los Angeles, CA area.

This person will report to the Sr. Director of Policy, Planning, and Strategy.

Learning Objectives

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Develop a strong foundation in front-end development principles and practices by collaborating with experienced team members and actively participating in team projects
  • Improve user experiences by creating efficient and reusable web-based sites focused on Information Security and Privacy, incorporating best practices in UI/UX design
  • Gain experience in working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop user-facing features, while also contributing to the creation of reusable code and libraries for future projects
  • Learn to implement new digital technologies and development techniques to address business objectives, staying updated with industry trends and emerging tools
  • Acquire skills in managing documents and data effectively through the creation and organization of libraries, ensuring accessibility and usability for team members and stakeholders

What This Person Will Bring

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college, university or trade school majoring in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Must be 18 years or older and have junior standing or above
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and HTML
  • Exceptional design and development skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively collaborate with diverse groups
  • Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to work out of Beverly Hills, CA office at least three days a week
