POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY : The Central New York Community Foundation has been entrusted with permanent charitable endowment funds, the earnings from which are used to provide grants to nonprofit organizations. This position is the first point of contact for the president & CEO to include the board of directors, committee members, and any persons external to the organization wishing to engage with the president & CEO. This position provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship with a high level of confidentiality. This position also provides executive support to the president, board of directors, and leadership team, as well as certain other committees established by the board and/or staffed by the president & CEO.
The Executive Assistant must be pro-active, creative and thrive working in a collaborative environment that is mission-driven, results-driven and community oriented. They will have a demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptive while exercising strong judgement and exceptional attention to detail, all while multitasking to meet deadlines. The Executive Assistant will have an understanding and commitment to the Community Foundation’s mission and vision along with experience collaborating effectively with persons from various cultural, social and ethnic backgrounds.

TIME REQUIREMENT
This is a full time exempt position requiring 37.5 hours per week plus occasional early, late or weekend hours are required. Work hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with some flexibility. Tuesdays through Thursdays are designated in-office days. Staff that choose to work a hybrid work schedule may choose to do so on Mondays and/or Fridays, dependent on management approval.
BENEFITS
Salary range is $60,000 - $70,000. Employee benefits include health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, annual vacation and sick & safe leave, thirteen paid holidays, term life insurance, additional disability insurance, parking, 401(k) retirement savings program with employer contribution and match, optional flex spending accounts for medical or dependent care expenses and other benefits as outlined in the employee handbook.
