Electronics Test Technician:
Job Responsibilities:
Builds and Performs tests on systems and components to determine operability, performance, quality, and suitability. Troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies systems and components as appropriate and support RMA failure analysis.
Specific Duties:
· Electronics Test Technician Operates standard equipment in Functional Test and process environments to conduct work requiring precision.
· Follows prescribed work methods in accomplishment of assignments. Maintains proper and appropriate record and files.
· Inspects, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, modifies, and suggests applications of standard or non-standard techniques.
· Electronics Test Technician suggests design changes, test modifications or recommends improvements in design, testing methods or materials.
· Functions with general direction and little day-to-day supervision on complex programs involving various equipment and instruments.
· Electronics Test Technician interfaces with customer.
· Assists other Functional Test Engineers/technicians with their tests set up and interpretation of instruction and technical engineering.
· Performs such individual assignments as the VP may direct.
· Electronics Test Technician ensures adequate and continuous controls are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality.
· Establishes and maintains effective work relationships within the Functional Test department, the test facility, and the community.
· Electronics Test Technician maintains the professional competence, knowledge, and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
