SCHEDULE:

We are seeking dedicated Criminal Justice and legal professionals to teach undergraduate courses within the Criminal Justice program on a part-time basis.; classes are held on campus during the day with flexible office hours.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver course content following the program curriculum and academic standards.

• Teach courses such as Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminal Law, Criminology, Constitutional Criminal Procedure, Policing, or Corrections.

• Exhibit a strong commitment to the integration of faith and learning.

• Create a supportive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and student development.

• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.

• Ensure compliance with university policies, procedures, and accreditation standards.

• Utilize the Canvas learning platform and other technological resources to enhance student learning.

• Collaborate with the Department Chair to align teaching strategies and course objectives with program goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, or a related field; a Ph.D. or J.D. is preferred.

• Relevant professional experience in criminal justice, law enforcement, law, corrections, or a related field.

• Prior teaching experience at the college level preferred.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to student success.

SALARY:

Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience and other qualifications.
