Job Description

The Controller of Global Accounting Operations / Shared Services will report to the VP of Finance, and will oversee the Accounting function including Accounts Payable, Payroll (Tax), Labor Compliance, Special Projects and will have manager(s) as well independent contributors reporting to this role. High Intelligence Leader with strong EQ acumen and global management perspective capable of sustaining high performance culture, advanced technological mentality and regular interaction with C-Suite.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Analyzing existing workflows for responsible area to ensure that responsibilities are clearly defined, documented and measurable
• Managing the construction cost accounting, budgeting and financial reporting
• Prepare Work in Progress (WIP) schedules and budget forecasts
• Monitoring metrics and team performance to ensure that resources are deployed effectively and crossed trained properly
• Participate in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial plans
• Proactively drive process improvement/efficiency
• Monitor project financial performance and provide analysis to support decision making

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proven experience managing a team
• Relevant industry experience and familiarity with regulatory requirements
• Experience in multi-legal entity environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a proven history of managing multiple projects
• Experience with financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
