Overview

Location: Tampa, FL (Onsite, 5 days a week). Job Type: Contract to Hire. Experience Level: Mid-Senior. Pay Rate: $78 per hour.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Cloud Security Architect to join our Technology Research and Innovation team. This role involves providing advanced technical expertise to ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments across AWS and Azure. You will work closely with project teams, contributing to cloud security strategy, governance, and automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Cloud Security Architecture for PoC environments (AWS and Azure).
• Provide expertise in Cloud Security, including end-point, application, and network security, with a focus on automation.
• Work with CNAPP solutions and MDR platforms, offering relevant insights and recommendations.
• Leverage experience with SSE platforms like Zscaler to enhance cloud security posture.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and governance.
• Contribute to the development of cloud security strategy, requirements, and solutions for DevX.
• Design, implement, and maintain processes for cloud security governance and controls.
• Conduct research on emerging cloud security technologies to inform strategies and solutions.
• Consult with application development teams to plan and deliver secure cloud-based solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud security architecture, development, and integration.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with CNAPP solutions and Zscaler.
• Proven expertise in cloud computing infrastructure and security across AWS and Azure.

Knowledge and Skills

• Deep understanding of cloud security architecture and services in AWS and Azure environments.
• Proficient in agile development methodologies and cloud-based application development.
• Advanced analytical and technical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong collaborative skills and ability to work effectively in a team.

Additional Information

• This role requires an onsite interview at the Tampa, FL office.
• The ideal candidate should be prepared to transition from contract to hire.

Must have

• Minimum of 5 years experience in cloud security architecture, development, designs, integration.
• Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline or related experience preferred.
• Experience working with CNAPP and Zscaler.
• Possesses and maintains deep knowledge and experience of cloud computing infrastructure, agile development, application development methodologies, best practices, and available and emergent services in several cloud provider environments including AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Maintains current knowledge of cloud security technologies and architecture marketplace.
• Advanced analytical and technical skills both breadth and depth.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
