Overall Purpose The Chief Human Resource Officer is an integral member of the Executive Leadership team, serving as a strategic leader and trusted advisor across the company. The CHRO is responsible for leading the development and execution of Human Resource strategy to support the company’s overall business plan.
Essential Functions - Serves as a trusted advisor to the senior management team, providing expert guidance on technical human resource issues and counsel regarding sensitive matters.
- Provides exceptional leadership in developing highly engaged, high performance teams.
- Develops recruiting, retention, and employee development strategy to optimize human capital and meet business needs.
- Leads development of competitive and creative compensation and benefit programs.
- Provides Compensation Committee reporting and guidance.
- Keeps abreast of new trends and best practices, identifies opportunities to enhance the workplace, and implements programs to create an exceptional place to work.
- Ensures legal and regulatory compliance.
- Develops and maintains a strong network with external HR executives.
- Provide overall leadership and guidance to Human Resource function by overseeing talent acquisition, retention, training and leadership development, compensation, benefits, employee relations, succession planning, organizational design, and related compliance including affirmative action.
- Complies with all security policies and procedures, to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained.
Minimum Qualifications - Strong record of successful senior leadership in financial services or technology sector companies.
- Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships and business partnerships.
- Respected leader with high level of personal and professional integrity.
- Demonstrated success developing and retaining highly engaged, high performing teams and aligning talent to meet business objectives.
- Influential leader of change and innovative solutions.
- Broad Human Resource background coupled with strong compensation expertise and experience developing and presenting Compensation Committee reporting.
- Academic and professional credentials including an undergraduate degree in Business Management, Organizational Design or related field.

Physical Requirements Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
