Warehouse Associate / Manager

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Warehouse Manager / Associate to lead and optimize our warehouse operations. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, ensuring that all processes run smoothly and efficiently. You will supervise additional warehouse workers seasonally. This hybrid role will act as both an order fulfillment associate as well as managing the overall warehouse organization and operation. 

Your expertise will help us maintain inventory accuracy, manage stock levels, and ensure timely order fulfillment. If you are passionate about working in a collaborative environment and having a sense of ownership, this is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in our organization.

Warehouse Operations Management:

· Oversee all warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.

· Maintain proper inventory control and management procedures to minimize stock discrepancies, optimize storage, and manage inventory flow.

· Daily Order fulfillment, container and truck unloading.

Staff Supervision & Training:

· Oversee warehouse staff, including warehouse associates.

· Assign tasks and collaboratively work with teammates to ensure timely order fulfillment.

· Inventory Control: Conduct regular stock audits and physical inventory counts to ensure accuracy.

· Plan our warehouse organization and material placement.

Safety & Compliance:

· Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety protocols and enforcing safe work practices.

Equipment & Facility Management:

· Ensure proper maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery.

· Monitor warehouse cleanliness and organization, ensuring an efficient and productive working environment.

Reporting & Documentation:

· Document and report on any inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or other issues affecting warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma

Experience:

· 2-5 years of experience in warehouse activities.

· Proven experience with inventory management systems (WMS), and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).

· Experience working in a collaborative team environment and working independently. 

Skills & Competencies:

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Understanding of warehouse operations, activities and best practices.

Essential Skills:

· Material handling experience

· Loading experience

· Forklift Operation 2 years

· Inventory management skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

· High school diploma or GED required

· Ability to lift 80 lbs throughout the shift

· Ability to perform basic shop mathematics for inventory counts
