JobsRUs.com is a service-oriented staffing/recruiting company dedicated to working closely with our clients. We currently are hiring for a Warehouse Associate in Heuvelton , NY

The Warehouse Associate will manually move freight, stock, and other materials. The Successful candidate will ensure safe and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

Hours Monday- Friday 5:30AM-2PM may vary
Overtime will be required
$16+/hr depending on experience

Essential Functions:

- Manually load and unload the freight.
- Efficiently stack and store the merchandise in the appropriate area.
- Pick orders for shipment
- Check or count freight for accuracy and/or damage.
- Maintain a clean, neat, order work area.
- Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse.
- Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety.
- Participate in physical inventories.
- Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and repacking.
- Ensure time is allocated properly to customers.
- Report hazards to shift supervisor.
- Follow attendance policy, show up for work on time, and ready to work assigned shift.
- Comply with OSHA standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:
High school diploma
Two years of experience in a warehouse setting
Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and hand trucks
Good computer skills
Inventory skills and excellent communication skills
Position will require lifting, standing and moving for 8-10 hour shift
