Description:

Position Summary: Truck Washer at Emmetsburg facility furthers Passel Farm’s goals by successful performing the following duties.

Objectives: Follows manager’s schedule for washing tractors and trailers; Completes washing per protocol; Follows all safety and bio-security procedures related to power washing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains facilities, equipment, and supplies
• Power washes, sweeps aisles, removes debris, and otherwise helps maintain facilities in clean, organized, functional condition
• Properly uses PPE in compliance with job and site protocols
• Does laundry as assigned by area manager/supervisor
• Performs maintenance as necessary
• Helps replace or repair equipment as requested
• Appropriately uses, maintains, and stores equipment
• Notifies supervisor of broken/malfunctioning equipment or facilities.
• Promptly reports problems and concerns to supervisor
• Keeps appropriate people informed and seeks clarification as necessary
• Actively participates in departmental and other team activities as requested
• Tends to details, completes work accurately and in a timely manner
• maintains accurate records and files as required
• promptly handles manager requests, concerns, and problems as they arise
• Helps team members identify and solve problems of quality
• Helps improve departmental systems for optimal operation/efficiency
• Performs any other duties that enhance the department's smooth/effective operation.

Schedule:

Every other week on (on even weeks)

weekend opportunities

15-20 hr /week average per period

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Experience: preferred - driving experience, CDL (optional), Must be minimum 18 years old

Working Conditions: This position generally works Monday through Friday; weekends vary.
