WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Morristown, New Jersey.

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Morris County, NJ! The weekly pay for this position is between $2,100 - $2,500.

Job Function:

\n

• Categorizes patients in the appropriate level of classification.
\n
• Applies external fetal monitor and interprets fetal heart tracing and uterine activity.
\n
• Implements intervention appropriately based on fetal heart rate pattern and maternal status during labor.
\n
• Identifies emergency situations, observes age and notifies provider accordingly.
\n
• Administers medication according to the 5 rights of safety and infection control guidelines and or per Provider's orders.
\n
• Screens patients for pain during the initial assessment and reassess according to guidelines.
\n
• Assists the physicians/midwife during a delivery.
\n

Job Requirements:

\n

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
\n
• Current RN license for the state that you are working in (or willingness to obtain).
\n
• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.
\n
• BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association.
\n
• Fetal Monitoring Certificate Preferred.
