Nationwide Therapy Group is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Decatur, Illinois.

Job Description & Requirements

Specialty: Med Surg

Duration: 13 weeks
48 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel

Skills & Procedures Required:

Neuro: CVA, TBI, spinal cord injuries, surgical drains, pre/post neuro surgery
Cardiac/Monitoring: Telemetry (remote), dysrhythmia interpretation, rapid response
Respiratory: Chest tubes (Emerson/Pleur-evac), CPAP/BiPAP, trach care, portable O₂, suctioning, pre/post thoracic surgery
GI/Med Surg: Colostomy, feeding tube care, continuous bladder irrigation
IV/Lines: Peripheral, PICC, ports, central line draws, blood product administration, IV starts
Meds: Insulin, Heparin, PCA
Wound Care: Wound Vac, isolation precautions
Other: Cerner EMR required | Trauma Level II experience preferred

Requirements: Experience: 2+ years med/surg Certifications: BLS, NIHSS
