Position: Mechanical Test Engineer

Join our pioneering space company in Arizona as a Mechanical Test Engineer ! In this vital role, you will manage and execute all stress testing for our innovative space solar power modules, ensuring their readiness for mission-critical applications.

What You'll Do:

• Plan and execute test campaigns based on space environmental and mission requirements.
• Develop comprehensive test procedures for thermal, mechanical, electrical, ESD, and radiation testing.
• Source and manage testing facilities and equipment to conduct rigorous evaluations.
• Collect data, create detailed reports, and maintain test equipment to support ongoing testing.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to prioritize testing workloads effectively.

Who You Are:

• You possess a Bachelor’s degree in Test Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field, with 5+ years of engineering experience.
• You have hands-on experience testing and qualifying space products, including thermal cycling, vibration testing, and electrical end-to-end testing.
• Experience with solar power products is a plus.
• Proven ability to manage technical projects effectively.
