Description:
The site requires coverage for 5 days in August and 6 days in September.
Flexibility is available with the awarded locum provider.
This position is call only.
The patient encounters per shift will range from 4 to 8.
The facility is served by two nearby airports.
Recommended lodging includes Holiday Inn.
The pediatric department consists of 3 beds with a nursing staff of 14.
Physicians must be board certified.
The estimated credentialing timeframe is 30 days.
The facility is a Level 3 trauma center with a Pediatric Level 1 specialty.
Specialty Questions:
Anesthesia support is available 24 hours a day.
General surgery is available.
The laboratory is continuously accessible.
Radiology services are available round-the-clock.
Cardio-thoracic surgery, neuro-surgery, vascular surgery, and catheterization lab services are not available 24 hours a day.
Pediatric procedures are required for admission, with preferences for PICU and NICU experience.
Physicians must be capable of attending C-sections and high-risk deliveries.
Non-invasive ventilation management and pediatric ventilation management skills are required.
Acute and chronic pediatric procedures are necessary.
Intubation and newborn procedures are essential.
