POSITION SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
\n\nPerforms a variety of duties in the Operating Room to assist the surgical team. Assists in caring for the safety and welfare of the patient in the operating room and for the efficient and prompt performance of assignments.
\n\nEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
\n\nHigh school diploma or equivalent experience required. Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program and two years' experience in the Operating Room as a Surgical Technician is required. Certification as a surgical technologist is preferred.
