Spray Painter - Custom Millwork and Cabinetry - Base Salary to 32.00/hour - North Kansas City, MO

• Our client is seeking a Spray Painter to join their millwork and cabinetry team in North Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will have expertise in applying finishes to custom millwork, casework, and cabinetry with precision and attention to detail. The Spray Painter role is critical in ensuring the final product meets the highest quality standards and exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for finishing, including sanding, cleaning, and masking as required.
• Apply finishes such as paints, stains, lacquers, and sealants to custom millwork and cabinetry using spray equipment.
• Ensure consistent and high-quality application, free of runs, drips, or imperfections.
• Mix and match colors to achieve desired results, following client specifications and project requirements.
• Operate and maintain spray equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety compliance.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in spray painting, preferably in millwork or cabinetry production.
• Expertise in various finishing techniques, including staining, lacquer application, and color matching.
• Proficiency with spray equipment, including HVLP and airless systems.
• Strong knowledge of finishing materials and their applications.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain spray equipment.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 20.00 - 32.00/hour range
