MINIMUM 6 MONTHS OF RECENT SEWING MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced sewing machine operator to fill an opening at a promotional item warehouse in Sunnyvale, TX.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm

Requirements for the Sewing Machine Operator:

• 6 months of recent sewing machine operating experience
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 lbs.
• Experience with single-needle sewing machines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
• Ability to read and follow design specifications and patterns.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to different types of fabric or product requirements.
• Prior experience in roles such as Industrial Sewing Machine Operator, Production Sewing Specialist, Fabrication Technician – Sewing, or Sewing Technician – Promotional Products is a big plus!

Responsibilities of the Sewing Machine Operator:

• Operate industrial sewing machines to sew single-needle stitching on promotional items such as custom bags, banners, and apparel.
• Follow design specifications to ensure the correct size, stitching pattern, and finish for each product.
• Inspect finished products for stitching quality, alignment, and defects.
• Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.
• Ensure timely production of items to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the production team to troubleshoot and resolve any sewing issues during production.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and production guidelines.
