Overview

A Pittsburgh, PA based CPA firm desires to hire a full time Senior Staff Accountant. In this role you will gain real-world business, accounting, and financial experience that will enhance your skills of financial management pertaining to running a successful business. The position offers competitive pay based on experience.

Responsibilities
The job responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include, but are not limited to:
•\tQuarterly and year-end accounting for all entity types including but not limited to Individuals and Corporations/Partnerships.
•\tPreparing Individual (1040) and Corporation/Partnership (1120, 1120S, 1065) Federal, State and Local Tax returns.
•\tAct as liaison between the clients and the IRS, State and Local taxing authorities.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
•\tBachelor’s degree in accounting
•\tMinimum 5 years of tax preparation and professional accounting experience required
•\tMust have intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word & Outlook)
Preferred
•\tCPA
•\tKnowledge of Ultra Tax CS program is a plus
•\tPrior public accounting experience a plus
