Job Description

Our client is a growing global semiconductor company is seeking a Senior Product Quality Engineer to join their high-performing team focused on automotive applications. This is a critical role that interfaces directly with both internal cross-functional teams and external automotive customers to ensure top-tier product quality and long-term success.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for automotive customer quality engineers on product-related topics.
• Lead internal quality efforts across product development cycles and support process improvements.
• Manage and execute 8D investigations and corrective action plans for quality issues.
• Create and present clear, professional 8D reports for customer communications.
• Partner with sales and technical teams to support customer quality requests and documentation.
• Support PPAP submissions and compliance with automotive quality standards.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE required).
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in quality, product, applications, or test engineering within the automotive sector.
• Strong working knowledge of AEC-Q100 qualification standards.
• Demonstrated experience leading 8D investigations and preparing customer-facing quality reports.
• A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable engaging in cross-functional team environments and directly supporting customers.

BONUS REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in Failure Analysis (FA) labs.
• Familiarity with APQP , FMEA , and Control Plans.
• Certification or experience as an IATF or VDA auditor .
• Project management capabilities.
• Experience in customer-facing technical or quality roles.
