Amazon Studios is responsible for producing and acquiring compelling, exclusive Original content for our massive global base of Amazon Prime Video customers. As the home of Original shows and movies like the Emmy Award-winning comedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, the raucous and satirical superhero takedown The Boys, the sequel to Eddie Murphy's cult-classic film Coming 2 America, and the TV adaptation of The Lord of the Rings, we are just getting started. Amazon Studios is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our team. The Senior Financial Analyst will support the financial planning efforts, with direct ownership of key line items on our Studios P&L. With direct influence over content investment decisions and strategy, this is an ideal opportunity for a finance professional who is passionate about data, analytics, driving value for customers, and, of course, video content.

Key job responsibilities

Provide financial analyses to our Creative and Business Affairs Executives throughout their decision-making processes
Execute opportunities for process improvement and automation and efficiency of our Studio operations
Contribute to post-mortem analyses to determine areas for optimization and improvement
Provide timely, accurate and complete financial forecasting and reporting for our Original series content budgets

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 2+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science)
