Project Overview: This project provides analytic and strategic support to help analyze mission resource needs, assess program health, and measure organizational performance for Customs and Border Protection. The goal is to drive timely, data-informed decision-making on the allocation of resources to advance mission implementation and priorities. Role Description: The project team is seeking a business process analyst to assist with program performance and evaluation. The business process analyst will be responsible for producing three quarterly performance reports that evaluate whether the agency met or is likely to meet its goals or not. Additionally, the business process analyst will work on process improvements in between reporting cycles, aiming for increased efficiencies and automation. A successful candidate will have a forward-thinking mindset to envision the future potential of programs, while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Familiarity with software programs such as Power BI, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint is required. The business process analyst must also be able to communicate effectively with multiple stakeholders and work efficiently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities: Produce, review, and publish quarterly reports using Power BI, Excel, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat Communicate with multiple stakeholders to produce reports Recommend improved methods, systems, procedures, and/or organizational changes Technical applications used: Power BI, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint Update monthly status reports to communicate about completed and planned work Complete ad-hoc tasks as assigned Required Qualifications: CBP Public Trust Clearance or other government clearance Bachelor's Degree 5 - 7 years of professional experience, preferably working with federal government agencies Strong attention to detail and communication skills Ability to work with limited supervision Ability to adapt quickly and manage unexpected challenges during a time crunch Basic understanding of Organizational Performance Management frameworks A familiarity with the technical applications including Power BI, Word, Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Power Automate, Power Apps, and SharePoint This is a hybrid position, with one day per week in an office based in the National Capitol Region Vetrics Group
