Job Title: Safety Manager

Location: M-F 8-5 - available to work flexible hours outside designated schedule

The Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring the safest possible environment exists for TrueCare patients, employees, guests, contractors, and visitors across all sites. The Safety Manager is responsible for managing and monitoring safety programs and systems, revision of policies, and procedures for existing activities and new processes. The Safety Manager will manage the deployment of safety drills and trainings and consistently evaluate the workplace for hazards and recommended measures to help protect staff. The Safety Manager will manage the security guards, contract relationships, ergonomic assessments and workers compensation investigations and administrative paperwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Corporate Security Management, Industrial Hygiene, Safety or related field; or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of five years of continuous experience in safety related roles and administration with similar mid-scale organizations.
• Demonstrated continuing Safety training.
• Proficiency in Safety orders and programs.
• Proficiency in Emergency Response
• Ergonomic Assessments and recommendations
• Workers Compensation investigations and administrative documentation
• Ability to handle multiple projects and quick to adapt and take on new initiatives. Proficiency with Microsoft office software.
• Computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office suite products, including Outlook, Word and Excel.
