Poppys Peanuts is seeking a hard-working, outgoing associate to help with our ice cream service and the retail candy store .

The ideal candidate will have a positive, fun-loving attitude to help us provide an unforgettable experience for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers to provide friendly service.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the work area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Handle cash transactions responsibly and accurately, ensuring proper cash handling
• prepare and maintain product for retail sales
• Serve ice cream and other frozen desserts

Requirements:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
• weekend and holiday availability (store is open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
• Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Mature hard-working professional to apply 

Our Story

Family-owned business since 1949, managed by jeff and Joe Grossman. Originally in Zerns Farmers Market, in Gilbertsville, PA. Now located solely at the Quakertown Farmers Market (Qmart), in Quakertown, PA.

What We Do:

We cook a full line of nuts, anyway you like them, cinnamon toffee nuts and dried fruits. We also carry sweets and candies you remember having as a kid, along with home-made caramel and candy apples; home-made chocolates including cashew and pecan “turtles" in both milk and dark chocolate; home-made fudge; home-made ice cream, and water ice; and peanut brittle. Always something NEW at Poppys!
