Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Python Developer with strong expertise in building REST APIs and web applications using Python frameworks such as Flask and Django. As a contract developer in our telecom company, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable applications that will enhance our product offerings.
This role requires an individual with deep knowledge of Python programming and at least 8-10 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in building high-quality, production-grade APIs and web applications while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. AWS experience is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and web applications using Python frameworks such as Flask and Django
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and technical solutions
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure maximum performance and scalability
• Contribute to architecture and design decisions
• Ensure software quality by writing unit tests and performing code reviews
• Work with cloud platforms, specifically AWS, to deploy and manage applications
• Continuously learn new technologies and frameworks to improve development processes
Required Qualifications:
• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in Python development
• Extensive experience with Python frameworks, particularly Flask and Django
• Proven experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications:
• Experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
• Prior experience in the telecom industry is a plus
