Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Infra Developer with 10+ years of experience in Python to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a passion for developing infrastructure solutions. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and on-site with no travel required. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing implementing and maintaining our infrastructure to support our business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions to support business needs
• Oversee the development and maintenance of infrastructure using Python
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure components
• Monitor and optimize infrastructure performance to ensure high availability and scalability
• Develop and enforce best practices for infrastructure development and deployment
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation
• Contribute to the development of infrastructure-related documentation and training materials
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all infrastructure solutions
• Participate in the planning and execution of infrastructure projects
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their infrastructure needs

• Possess a solid technical background with extensive experience in Python

Salary and Other Compensation:

This role is accepting application through 3/12/2025.

The annual salary for this position is between $79,000-$133,000 USD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
