WHO DO WE WANT

Posh Peanut is looking for a highly analytical and strategic Planner to drive sales and maximize profitability through detailed inventory and financial planning. In this role, you'll partner closely with buying, merchandising, e-comm, and marketing teams in a fast-paced but highly collaborative environment to create demand forecasts, optimize inventory levels, and support the team in driving toward company goals.

This role will be on a temporary basis from October-February.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Analyze key metrics within style, size, print, color, and other attributes to identify opportunities and risks to selling, margin, and inventory on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Monitor inventory levels on a daily basis and recommend actions to maximize revenue and profitability.
• Manage sku-level replenishment and recommend buys based on sales trend, size selling, and inventory productivity.
• Execute promotional and markdown strategies that will result in optimal combination of sales, margin, and inventory ownership.
• Use learnings from style productivity hindsights and size analyses to inform buys and key business decisions.
• Create models, reports & recaps as needed to aid cross-functional team discussions.

EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS

• 5 years of planning experience within a branded, ecommerce DTC environment. Experience planning apparel/ accessories preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to influence and communicate with personnel at all levels of the organization including senior management.
• Strategic thinker with ability to look at the business from tops-down and bottoms-up perspectives. Creative problem solver/ “outside the box” thinker with a strong sense of curiosity.
• Proven strong analytical acumen and attention to detail. Ability to make data-driven observations/hypotheses and communicate findings and recommendations to different cross-functional team members.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Comfortable working with large sets of data to come to actionable conclusions.
• Experience with BI/Data visualization platforms (eg Tableau, Looker, etc)
