PURIS Corp. is seeking a skilled Fuse Technician with expertise in the CIPP industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with 8–24-inch pipes in the sewer and wastewater line industries. As a Fuse Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring proper pipe fusing operations while adhering to project specifications, safety standards, and deadlines.

• Operate and maintain fusion equipment to fuse pipes ranging from 8–24 inches in diameter.
• Perform pipe preparation, welding, and joining tasks in compliance with CIPP processes and specifications.
• Inspect and verify fused joints to ensure integrity, quality, and adherence to project requirements.
• Assist with the installation and rehabilitation of sewer and wastewater lines using CIPP technologies.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of fusion equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations on-site and meet project deadlines.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulatory standards while working in hazardous or confined environments.
• Document fusion activities, including measurements, quality checks, and other project-related records.

Required:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the CIPP industry or related sewer and wastewater line rehabilitation work.
• Proficiency in operating fusion equipment for 8–24 inch pipes.
• Familiarity with pipe materials such as HDPE and PVC used in CIPP processes.
• Strong understanding of sewer and wastewater line systems, including inspection, repair, and rehabilitation techniques.
• Knowledge of safety practices related to trenchless pipe work and confined spaces.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:

• Relevant certifications in pipe fusion or CIPP technologies.
• Experience working on municipal, commercial, or industrial sewer systems.
• Confined space entry training and certification.
• CDL license or ability to obtain one.

• Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work in outdoor environments and in confined spaces under varying weather conditions.
• Flexibility to travel and work extended hours as needed.
