Job Title: Phlebotomist I Location: New London, CT 06320 Duration: 3 months+ (possible extension) Shift: 5:30 AM - 10:30 AM Mon - Fri. Weekdays + Every Other Weekend Required: Phlebotomist Certificate Pay range: $17 - $21/hr. on W2 Job Summary: We are seeking a dependable and professional Phlebotomist I to join our detox clinic team on a part-time, temporary basis. This role focuses exclusively on urine specimen collection - phlebotomy experience is not a priority . The ideal candidate is mature, organized, and capable of maintaining a calm and professional demeanor in a clinical setting. Candidates must be available to work weekdays and every other weekend. Roles and responsibilities: Perform urine toxicology collections accurately and in accordance with established procedures. Have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection. Phlebotomy experience - pediatric and geriatric capillary and venipuncture - required. Demonstrate Leadership Behaviors while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information. Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures. Maintains required records and documentation.
