FACILITY REQUIREMENTS

Specialty:Pediatric Hospitalist

• Board requirement (years of eligibility defined by facility)
• Board requirement (Example EM, FM, IM): ABIM
• Life Support Certifications Required: ABLS, ACLS, BLS, PALS
• COVID vaccine/exemption required? Yes

LOCUM COVERAGE ASSESSMENT

• Reason for Locum need? Call
• Is the Locum Coverage needed short-term (3-6 months) or long-term (6+ months)? Ongoing
• Is the Locum Coverage needed for a specific shift type: Call Only
• Call Response Time: 20 mins
• Call Ratio: 1
• Call Back %: 50%
• Phone Consults: 5
• Patients Seen: 3-8
• Admissions: 3-8
• Temp Privileges granted? Yes with clean files and an active license
• Start Date: April 24, 2025

• Will they be required to supervise Advance Practice Providers? No
• Patients per Shift: 2-5
• Beds in Dept: 16
• Shift Times / Coverage Details: 24-hour call coverage - Dates needed: 4/24-4/28, 5/1-5/3, 6/2-6/3, 10/6-10/10 5pm, 11/24-12/1
