Salary: $20-$25 per hour

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accountant to join our team. This role will support our financial operations by assisting with day-to-day accounting functions and providing valuable insights to help guide business decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for the semi-retired accounting professional, an individual looking to get back into the workforce, or anyone who wants to remain in the world of finance while still maintaining flexible hours!

What Youll Do

• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording transactions and maintaining accurate ledgers
• Assist with tax preparation and filings
• Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy across all financial records
• Support budgeting and financial forecasting efforts
• Serve as a backup for payroll processing
• Provide general accounting support as needed

What You Bring to the Team:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, reconciliations, and tax basics
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Schedule & Compensation:

• Part-time, flexible schedule (approximately 15-20 hours per week)
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
