Job Description

We're working with a mid-sized boutique law firm in the personal injury space that is looking to add a Paralegal to their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law and litigation, with the ability to manage case files, communicate with clients, and assist attorneys in all aspects of case preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and organize personal injury case files from intake through settlement or trial
• Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and legal correspondence
• Assist in preparing cases for mediation, arbitration, and trial
• Conduct legal research and gather supporting documentation
• Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and opposing counsel
• Request, review, and summarize medical records and bills
• Coordinate depositions, hearings, and court filings
• Ensure all deadlines and court requirements are met
• Maintain accurate case management records in legal software

Qualifications:

• Education: Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field preferred
• Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of personal injury litigation experience required

Skills:

• Strong understanding of Pennsylvania personal injury law and court procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in legal research and case management software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
