Position Title: Open Source Analyst Position Overview: S2Technologies is seeking an experienced Open Source Analyst to provide support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A). The Office supports a number of functions regarding protecting US interests and interacts across DHS and with State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial governments and private sector entities. In this role you will use classified Intelligence Community, DHS, and other federal databases, law enforcement systems, and publicly available open-source information to identify, triage, and share threat intelligence. Opens source analysts and watch officers will analyze and collect intelligence, perform first-phase all-source analysis, and disseminate actionable intelligence to support DHS priorities, including border security, illegal immigration, drug trafficking, terrorism, nation-state threats, and cyber threats. Additionally, you will prepare written analytic products, deliver oral briefings, and maintain situational awareness of threat streams and geopolitical developments. Responsibilities Assess and recommend emerging OSINT methodologies and tools Identify new sources of publicly available information Open Maintain and develop threat profiles from all available sources Support or lead teams for watch offices and open source collectors Conduct analytic exchanges with DHA and other IC partners Basic Qualifications Bachelors or advanced degree Previous experience with civilian intelligence programs Desired Skills and Knowledge Superior communication skills Excellent written skills Experience with various tools Experience with fusion centers Experience with DHS Understanding of all hazards Salary Range: $90,000-185,000 Location: Onsite - Washington DC Clearance: US Citizen Required.
