We’re seeking agile, dedicated On-Call Home Health Aides (HHAs) who will be the heart of the care we provide. This role comes with a guaranteed 40 hours per week and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in clients’ lives by helping them recover safely at home. What You Will Do

• Provide personal care and support, including ambulation, transfers, ostomy care, assistance with medical equipment and self-administered medication.
• Monitor vital signs, observe and report client conditions, and follow infection control protocols.
• Protect client rights and always ensure confidentiality.
• Assist with personal hygiene, nutrition, fluid intake, and light housekeeping.
• Maintain professionalism, compassion, and confidentiality in every interaction.
• Collaborate with HHA Supervisors to ensure efficient, high-quality care.

Qualifications

 

Job Requirements

• Must be available to work from 12:00pm – 8:00pm and E/O weekend.
• Must be available to work in Manhattan and two additional boroughs of choice.
• Must be comfortable using public transportation and able to commute across boroughs.
• Willingness to work both long-hour cases and multiple short-hour cases. (You may choose your preferred workdays.

Qualifications

• Completion of a New York State Department of Health–approved HHA Training Program (or equivalent).
• Minimum sixth (6th) grade reading comprehension; sufficient writing and math skills to perform job responsibilities safely.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Two (2) years of work experience preferred.
• Must be bilingual (English/Spanish).
