Occupational Health Nurse

Location: Moorefield, OH

Work Schedule: Onsite, Monday- Friday (Flex 6-2pm or 7-3pm)

Pay Rate: $35/hour, with Medical Insurance OR 1 week PTO

Our Automotive client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join their multidisciplinary team. This role plays a vital part in promoting employee health, managing workplace injuries, and supporting wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with HR on medical leave, disability, and workers’ compensation case management.
• Conduct new hire exams, lab testing, fit-for-duty, and medical placement evaluations.
• Administer medications per standing orders and state Nurse Practice Act.
• Maintain and protect confidential employee health records in compliance with company policy and federal regulations.
• Support health and wellness programs to reduce workplace illness and injury.

Qualifications

Option 1:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Active in-state LPN or RN license
• Current American Heart Association Health Professional CPR card

Option 2:

• Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN)
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience
• Active in-state RN license
• Current American Heart Association Health Professional CPR card
