Job Description

The successful candidate will serve as a member of the AGN Network Engineering team responsible for and engaging in the design, development, testing and evaluation of network security and communication technologies, products, and solutions in support of the ARINC Global Network. Candidate must have some familiarity with cybersecurity/security methodologies and concepts and technologies as they apply to network and cloud infrastructures. The candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Corporate Security Teams for the planning, development, implementation and management of the overall AGN system security strategy. Candidate must be highly motivated, able to work in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently.* You will serve as a technical member on projects that contain moderate to highly complex environments, utilizing high availability concepts.* You will collaborate with other members of the Engineering team in the development of technical design solutions.* You will capture, analyze, decompose and create requirements for infrastructure security systems, products and subsystems of moderate complexity.* You will use an interdisciplinary approach, focusing on customer needs and business requirements, to design, develop, document, test and maintain network security systems ranging from the straightforward to moderately complex.* You will conduct threat and vulnerability analysis, risk mitigation, information assurance, penetration testing.* You will apply Security/Cybersecurity methodologies to network and systems design to provide secure services that support business requirements and ensure information security.* You will provide post-fielding support, resolving operational issues involving L2 and L3, in a multi-routing network infrastructure.* You will be working collaboratively onsite in our Annapolis, MD facility.* Requires a Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).* U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S citizens are authorized to access the information under this program/contract* Understanding of IP Networks, and network management concepts.* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain a productive and committed work effort, meeting deadlines and managing workload.* Must be able to use independent judgment to make decisions in day-to-day job responsibilities most of the time, under general supervision.* Experience with engineering reliability and availability.* Proven communication and collaboration skills to work across internal and external customers (government and commercial).* Medical, dental, and vision insurance* Three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees* Generous 401(k) plan that includes employer matching funds and separate employer retirement contribution, including a Lifetime Income Strategy option* Tuition reimbursement program* Student Loan Repayment Program* Life insurance and disability coverage* Optional coverages you can buy pet insurance, home and auto insurance, additional life and accident insurance,critical illnessinsurance, group legal, ID theft protection* Birth, adoption, parental leave benefits* Ovia Health, fertility, and family planning* Adoption Assistance* Autism Benefit* Employee Assistance Plan, including up to 10 free counseling sessions* Healthy You Incentives, wellness rewards program* Doctor on Demand, virtual doctor visits* Bright Horizons, child and elder care services* Teladoc Medical Experts, second opinion program* This position may be eligible for relocation* And more!
