About the Role
The Medical Director, Clinical Program Design will be responsible for leading the end-to-end development of patient care programs across current and future treatment areas. This includes programs focused on the management of chronic and complex conditions (e.g. obesity, menopause) as well as the expansion and replication of programs focused on urgent/convenience care (e.g. UTIs, Covid). This role requires a generalist physician who is passionate about primary care and who is experienced in the development and delivery of high-quality comprehensive care programs in a telemedicine setting. Candidates must be experienced in program framework design, development, and implementation, including the management of internal and cross-functional stakeholders as it relates to content development, clinician staffing, platform enhancements, and other requirements for success. The role will also require flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
What You'll Do
Lead clinical program inception, design, development, and implementation to meet client requirements for novel care programs and for the expansion of preexisting programs.
Shepherd the creation of programs focused on the longitudinal management of chronic and complex conditions.
Leverage a network of clinical subject matter experts, including specialists. physicians, to identify program framework requirements and develop patient and provider facing content.
Manage a small team of direct reports tasked with the tactical requirements necessary to bring a program to life.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in R&D (product, engineering), operations, customer success, and finance.
Review team output to ensure clinical rigor and a high standard of care.
Who You Are
MD/DO.
Board certified in internal medicine or family medicine, required.
5+ years of clinical practice experience post residency, preferably in an outpatient setting.
2+ years designing and launching condition management programs, preferably in a health tech setting.
Experience leading teams and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders in a health tech setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail.
Experience providing obesity or menopause care is a plus, but is not required.
Salary and Perks
Pay Range: $202,000 - $288,000 base compensation.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
