Adult males at our Quakertown inpatient rehab center find recovery in a structured setting. They receive therapy, medical care, and education to help them overcome their personal issues and ultimately work toward sustained sobriety. We offer comprehensive addiction treatment and integrate holistic approaches to substance use recovery. Under a passionate leadership team, Pyramid Healthcare provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare for psychiatry, addiction recovery, mental disorder treatment, etc., defined by supportive environments to reclaim health and well-being.

Shift: 3 PM - 11 PM
Starting rate: $15/hour

Summary
An essential role in the delivery of residential treatment services. This is a direct care position with a primary responsibility of interacting with and supervising clients in treatment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes client observations during the MAT hours of operation.
• Maintains therapeutic relationships with all clients and effectively communicates changes in client status or milieu to the appropriate member of the treatment team.
• Obtains vital signs, capillary blood sugars, and urine specimens as directed.
• Reports any significant changes in medical condition, vital signs, blood sugar results, etc., to leadership.
• When necessary, encourages clients to actively engage in treatment and to routinely care for their ADLs and maintain an orderly, clean physical environment.
• Conducts all functions of the toxicology screening process including entering data into the lab system, collecting observed urine specimens, preparing specimens for transport to the lab, printing and reviewing toxicology reports, and communicating results to the assigned treatment team.
• Observes and documents the process of the dispensing of medication by the pharmacy vendor technician.
• Verifies that all documentation for admission obtained from the assessment team is available on the admission day, including records from inpatient or other providers.
• Maintains unit supply inventory by checking stock, anticipating needed supplies, placing orders with the Administrative Assistant, and verifying receipts of all orders.
• Assists in answering client medical concerns and escalates accordingly.
• Conducts follow-up calls for clients who have missed appointments for their medication-assisted treatment.
• Collects and logs client payments.
• Discusses and distributes client educational materials.
• Completes required trainings and mandatory training hours.
• Other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education:
High school diploma or equivalent, required.
Experience in a drug and alcohol and/or residential setting, preferred.
Experience as a Medical Assistant by employment or successful internship, preferred.
Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification, preferred.
