Job Description

Our busy dermatology practice is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our team!

Duties: 

• Accompany patients into exam rooms to obtain medical history, including allergies, medications, and history of chronic illness.
• Efficiently use EMR for documentation.
• Call patients with lab results
• Return patient calls to answer an array of questions, after guidance from provider.
• Clean and stock rooms
• Sterilize instruments and wash/fold patient gowns
• Assist providers during procedures and minor surgeries.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with multiple providers and other medical staff
• Must provide exceptional patient care
• Ability to multi task and perform a variety of MA skills.
• Reliable and punctual

Job Type:

• Full- TIme : Monday – Friday 8am - 5pm with days as needed 

Experience:

• 1 year of experience in medical office setting (Required)

Education:

• High School Diploma (Required)

Certifications/Licenses:

• Certificates related to medical training or education preferred

Pay:

• Pay starts at $18.00 and increases based on experience
