We currently have an opening for a
Marketing Intern in our
Brooklyn Center, Minnesota office. This position will assist in supporting MTI’s marketing initiatives such as social media, SEO, and market research. The duration of the internship is 12 weeks.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Perform analysis on MTI’s digital presence to identify opportunities for optimization including SEO, social media, and our website to keep us top of mind in the industry.
- Assist the Marketing Manager and social media partner in sourcing and editing content for social media.
- Conduct research on our customer groups, specifically sports fields and grounds customers, to help us curate content and develop strategies to best reach them.
- Participate in the development of marketing materials and assist in distributing them both online and in person.
- Help support company-wide customer engagement activities.

Education and/or Experience - High School diploma or equivalent.
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in marketing, advertising, communications or another related field (junior/senior status preferred).
- Prior marketing experience is preferred.
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and PowerPoint.
- Driven, self-starter with the ability to think critically and problem solve.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Based in the Twin Cities with the ability to be on-site at MTI’s office for the duration of the internship.
Salary $21.00 / hour. Our benefit program includes: 401(k), PTO and holiday pay.
