Job Purpose:
The primary mission of this position is to lead activities related to equipment characteristic improvement for the Ohio Transmission Plant, High Pressure Die Cast Department. This will be accomplished by performing true root cause analysis of top problems and implementing countermeasures.
The goal is to facilitate department S, Q, and D metric target achievement.
Key Accountabilities
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILL
Minimum Educational
Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience
Minimum Experience If BSEE, then 0yrs. If Experience only, then 6 years in related field.

Skills & Ability to interact in a team environment, PLC Programming, Robotics, Vision Systems, electrical controls, safety systems, servo motor, VFD control, AutoCAD electrical design, MS Office
Working conditions
Work at the spot, in the factory
50% Office environment, 50% Production Floor environment
About 2 weeks of travel domestic and international and 300-500 hours of OT annually
