Overview

Florida Vision Institute is searching for a Manager for our multi-specialty practice in Traditions, Port St. Lucie. No major holidays or Sundays, a robust benefits package, and a team-oriented working environment where you are seen, heard, and respected.

Our Top Candidate must bring at least five years of management/supervisory experience, preferably in an eye practice, but the same experience level in a busy medical specialty practice will most certainly be considered.

As a Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of employees and contributing to the achievement of our strategic goals.

Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, direction, and mentorship to team members
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Set performance expectations and conduct regular performance evaluations
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure they align with company standards
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes
  • Manage and prioritize projects to meet deadlines and objectives
  • Allocate resources effectively to maximize project outcomes
  • Ensure project goals and KPIs are met
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards
  • Address compliance issues promptly and effectively
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of proven experience in a managerial role
  • Ophthalmology clinical and/or supervisory experience is overwhelmingly preferred
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
