Position Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated Machinist with expertise in milling and drilling of large weldments. Familiarity with machining, Boring mills, Planer mills and Manual machining is essential. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring precision and quality in our machining operations.
Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC and Manual milling machines for the production of large weldments.
Execute precision machining of components based on engineering blueprints.
Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accuracy in machining processes.
Use various hand tools, measuring instruments, and CNC controls to achieve tight tolerances.
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Machinist, with expertise in milling and drilling of large weldments.
Proficiency in operating CNC and Manual controls.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and blueprints.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a machining environment.
Education and Experience:
Formal training in machining or related fields is a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience as a Machinist
