Logistics Analyst And Configuration Manager

SAIC is seeking a Logistics Analyst and Configuration Manager for an opportunity in North Charleston, SC. Logistics duties and responsibilities include:

• Performs life cycle maintenance and integrated product support of major systems.
• Controls the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between points of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements.
• Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production, Manufacturing Orders/Work Orders, inventory monitoring.
• Develops raw material requirements, scheduling requirements from engineering specifications, production schedules, and plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
• Ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistic processes.
• Logistics functions encompass maintenance, supply, transportation, and logistics plans.
• Inherently included as logistics tasks are program formulation, policy planning, coordination, inspection, integrated logistics processes, joint planning logistics, acquisition and wholesale logistics, product support, asset visibility, material management, and supervision.

CM duties and responsibilities include:

• Supporting product design changes and the effects of the overall system.
• Assisting in documenting and tracking all aspects of system development and modifications, configurations, risks, changes, and impacts.
• Ensuring configuration identification by reviewing design release documents for completeness and proper authorizations.
• Preparing deviations and waivers for approval when specifications cannot be met.
• Reviewing all issued document change requests, document change notices, and associated drawings for accuracy, completeness, and proper signatures.
• Structuring and maintaining databases.
• Submitting engineering changes for review and approval; maintaining records and submitting reports regarding status.
• Preparing configuration verification audit record sheets for all assigned programs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of related experience to the duties above, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
• Must be willing to work on site.
• Must be a US Citizen.
